Merry Christmas

The Donut Club, also now known as The Donut Corporation, is celebrating Christmas in less than four days! Yep, it's already that time of year! Speaking of years, 2015 is approaching and that means that our one-year anniversary is coming in about two months. 
Anyway, winter is finally here. Enjoy some hot chocolate and a nutdough with us. One thing, though: I don't have much winter clothing in ROBLOX. 

Woops. At least it's not snowing here where The Donut Club's HQ is.

Just as the picture caption says, we donuts don't live where it gets super cold. We can pray, plead, and pester for snow, but we know it won't happen. 
Man, I'm totally off track with this blog post. I guess it's just the fact that a.) Christmas break officially began Friday afternoon(!!), b.) CHRISTMAS IS IN FOUR DAYS, and c.) two of our donuts (including me!) bought Builders' Club yesterday so The Donut Club will fund its own group on ROBLOX! It'll really be a corporation then!
Gosh, this post is unprofessional too. But what do you expect from a kid?

We Missed A Month!

Uh..excuse us!

We missed a whole month. Woops! Let's recap:

-TheDonutClub is buttering up his dad for a SWEET SURPRISE that you won't know until it possibly happens! So nah-nah-nah boo-boo on you.

-We had a donut-ified Halloween last month

-Thanksgiving is coming up! What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for donuts.

-I ate nutdoughs for breakfast this morning.

OK, I will admit this news isn't as shocking or surprising or whatever you thought it was going to be. But frankly, The Donut Club is lagging behind in the important events aspect of most clubs and organizations. Anyway, that's all we have for this month 'cause we couldn't think of anything to write here. So bye.

We all headed back to school on the 25th. We've been meeting over ROBLOX to talk about less important things. We've also got new ROBLOX accounts, such as TheDonutNavy, TheDonutArmy, TheDonutCoastGuard, and a couple of more.

School Starts for Our Donuts This Month! - August

It's that time of year. We've got school soon! For us, donuts, school starts on the 25th, right before September begins. This summer, we'd had a few donut birthdays to celebrate. Happy birthday!
In addition, a new kind of group is being formed..but my lips are sealed! Speaking of seals, The Donut Club has (unofficially) joined a website. I'm still testing it on my account, moonofstars! It's called Animal Jam! And I'm a seal! It's super fun for all ages. I am looking forward to soon creating our official account. Donuts, pay attention to this! Please create account for yourself. The Donut Club's Departure

This school year was a big one for us - a new school was being built. Some of the kids from our school would be moving to the new one, including many of our donuts, and all but one in the high-ranking area of The Donut Club
We want to say thank you to that special donut, frenchguy1000 (ROBLOX username) for making The Donut Club fantastic. We'll miss you as we venture through our years of education.

The Donut Club - SCHOOL'S OUT! - June

In case you haven't noticed, we, The Donut Club staff, have been posting things on the blog monthly. This month, June, is very exciting! First, SCHOOL'S OUT FOR OUR STAFF THIS MONTH!

Donutify Your Memorial Day With Us

Remembering our veterans is important for all Americans. They sacrificed their lives just so we could live in a free country. 
The Donut Club wants you to remember our veterans! The office will be closed Monday, May 26th. Have a freedom-filled Memorial Day this year. Thanks.

The Donut Club's New Hang Out!

 You already know we have an HQ on ROBLOX, but even donuts take a break from meetings and drawing (not that we have created new characters and are planning for a spotlight!) and choir rehearsals. The Donut Club Choir Dates Released!

The Donut Club is FINALLY releasing new choir audition dates! 

They will be Thursday, March 20th during the hours of 8:05 am and 7:00 pm. 

To prepare, you need to know the solfege, the musical alphabet, and have a nice, pretty singing voice! 

Musical alphabet - A, B, C, D, E, F, G
Solfege - do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, (do)

We will announce who is in the choir after we hold auditions. Thank you, and please consider trying out!

The Donut Club Contest

A contest!

That's what we're doing. The contest is...

Create your own donut comic. 

Rules

1. Use at least three characters.

2. Do not "put anyone down", or write or draw anything bad about someone, whether they're in the contest or not.

3. Use proper grammar - we want to understand your plot!

4. If you can't draw, that's alright, unless the drawings are very bad. But if you put all your effort into the comic, this can easily be avoided. We don't want an effortless comic!

5. As stated above, we don't want a comic with zero effort put into it! Work hard if you expect to win.

6. All of your characters MUST be donuts.

If any of these rules are violated, the comic will be disqualified. 

Please email the comic to me or one of the website authors to the right of this page. You can make the comic a YouTube video or anything else, just as long as we get it. And PLEASE, PLEASE WRITE YOUR NAME SOMEWHERE WHERE WE WILL SEE IT! If you don't, you will not get credit for it.

All comics are due March 7th. Good luck, and start working soon!

The Donut Club: An Important Announcement

This message is to not only our staff, but to the public.

We are very displeased to announce that some people have said we have taken this club "too far" or are "really stupid". A regular club meets every once in a while. Why should this be such a bad thing?

Also, not many people, for an unknown reason, do not know what this club does before the judge us. We are a cartooning club, not just some random get-together.

And we do know that donut is a regular slang and is used for billboards to save money, but it is also true that doughnut is the correct way to spell it when writing papers, etc. 

So before you speak, please go through what we do in your mind. We have feelings too. Thank you for reading this special message.

The Donut Club Loom Bracelets

That's right - The Donut Club has its very own Loom bracelet! We are not taking "orders", please note. But these bracelets can very easily be made at home!!!

What you need is a Rainbow Loom kit, and you're set! The colors we used on the bracelet: black, forest green, brown, pink. The pink is only for the connector on the S clip. 

As some people say, it only takes a brain to make these bracelets!

The Donut Club Character Spotlight: Catwalk Donut

As you already know, The Donut Club is a cartooning club with more than just sitting down and drawing, though this is what we do more than half of the time...
ANYWAY, since we write comics and draw, we have characters in our comics and drawings. Here is our character spotlight!

Spotlight: Catwalk Donut

Catwalk Donut is one of the sassiest donut characters you could meet! She walks down the isle, with donut citizens watching her during the Fabulous Fashion Show, as mentioned in the comic. Catwalk Donut has long, glamorous hair that reaches the ground. 
Catwalk Donut isn't exactly the most courteous friend, but you can count on her to keep your fashion up-to-date and in line!

All New The Donut Club Staff Uniform

On Thursday, we decided to create a The Donut Club uniform! That way, our donuts can be identical. And we can show our donut pride (even though the uniform has nothing to do with a donut)!

To the right, as you can see, this is what the uniform looks like. Its torso and arms are covered with burnt orange, although it looks yellow on ROBLOX and here. The legs are covered with light blue, the head peach, the BLOXXER tee, and Raccoon Ranger from the hats. This outfit is very cheap - the whole thing is only ten tix.
Remember, this is only for our staff, and they do not have to wear this at all times. It's only a staff uniform to show they're donuts!

The Donut Club Crew: The Insider Story

Usually, we're meeting via ROBLOX, even though we're all connected in the real world. Still, it's fun to play with each other over the computer! And, for the record, we don't only ride jeeps. We crash into things with the bus and the car. But don't worry - it pieces back together in a few minutes.

The Donut Club's Connection with ROBLOX.com

In January, The Donut Club made a ROBLOX account on roblox.com, with the name TheDonutClub. The meeting place, called The Donut Club HQ, was partially built by madeleineian11. There are offices as well as a table for the donuts to meet.
To chat will us, make a ROBLOX accound today and join our game when we're having a meeting, which is usually on weekdays. If any donuts are in their office working, however, please do not disturb them.

The Donut Club's Story: What We Do

The Donut Club is a fairly new group created in December of 2013. Our story is unique, but true at the same time.

One day, a class was checking the answers of a test they had taken with a teacher. A question had spelled doughnuts like donuts, the shorter version of doughnuts. Still knowing this, Diane* and Roi* made fun of the spelling. They pronounced donut DAW-nut. Finally, after all of the fuss they had created, the teacher said for the class to quiet down. In the midst of the quiet, Roi said, "Donuts."

The class "roared with laughter," as Diane says. Afterward, Roi created a group called The Donut Club. He made his best friend, Steve* a VIP in the group and Diane part of the Board of Directors. Later, a friend, Austin* had joined and more and more people wanted to be a part of the fun.

The Donut Club's main color is yellow. Wednesday is called "Donut Wednesday", which the schedule is the same as Saturday's [see http://www.roblox.com/The-Donut-Club-HQ-place?id=142591449].

What Does The Donut Club do?

The Donut Club simply draws pictures of "donuts". They use them in comics, and sometimes just a one-page detailed art masterpiece. One of the most popular donut comics stars Devil Donut and Angelic Donut, in a battle. Devil Donut ends up winning in the first part of this comic, but Angelic Donut, in the second part, gets up and defeats Devil Donut with the words, "I command you out of this innocent donut's body." Devil Donut then turns to Ordinary Donut. 

Dallas* is one of The Donut Club's best artists. He often draws pictures of Demon Donut.
