The Donut Club - SCHOOL'S OUT! - June

In case you haven't noticed, we, The Donut Club staff, have been posting things on the blog monthly. This month, June, is very exciting! First, SCHOOL'S OUT FOR OUR STAFF THIS MONTH! 

Also, very recently, I hung out at the SUPERsecret Confidential place on ROBLOX. /e dance!

Thanks for being awesome, The Donut Club! We are also celebrating our six-month anniversary of existence this month. Hooray!

Donutify Your Memorial Day With Us

Remembering our veterans is important for all Americans. They sacrificed their lives just so we could live in a free country. 
The Donut Club wants you to remember our veterans! The office will be closed Monday, May 26th. Have a freedom-filled Memorial Day this year. Thanks.

Today, another donut and I hung out at our confidential place on ROBLOX. We danced to super cool music and just had a blast!

The Donut Club's New Hang Out!

 You already know we have an HQ on ROBLOX, but even donuts take a break from meetings and drawing (not that we have created new characters and are planning for a spotlight!) and choir rehearsals. We have built a ROBLOX place, just for all of us to chill. If you happen to find us at the hang out, go ahead and join!

The Donut Club Choir Dates Released!

The Donut Club is FINALLY releasing new choir audition dates! 

They will be Thursday, March 20th during the hours of 8:05 am and 7:00 pm. 

To prepare, you need to know the solfege, the musical alphabet, and have a nice, pretty singing voice! 

Musical alphabet - A, B, C, D, E, F, G
Solfege - do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, (do)

We will announce who is in the choir after we hold auditions. Thank you, and please consider trying out!

The Donut Club Contest

A contest!

That's what we're doing. The contest is...

Create your own donut comic. 

Rules

1. Use at least three characters.

2. Do not "put anyone down", or write or draw anything bad about someone, whether they're in the contest or not.

3. Use proper grammar - we want to understand your plot!

4. If you can't draw, that's alright, unless the drawings are very bad. But if you put all your effort into the comic, this can easily be avoided. We don't want an effortless comic!

5. As stated above, we don't want a comic with zero effort put into it! Work hard if you expect to win.

6. All of your characters MUST be donuts.

If any of these rules are violated, the comic will be disqualified. 

Please email the comic to me or one of the website authors to the right of this page. You can make the comic a YouTube video or anything else, just as long as we get it. And PLEASE, PLEASE WRITE YOUR NAME SOMEWHERE WHERE WE WILL SEE IT! If you don't, you will not get credit for it.

All comics are due March 7th. Good luck, and start working soon!

The Donut Club: An Important Announcement

This message is to not only our staff, but to the public.

We are very displeased to announce that some people have said we have taken this club "too far" or are "really stupid". A regular club meets every once in a while. Why should this be such a bad thing?

Also, not many people, for an unknown reason, do not know what this club does before the judge us. We are a cartooning club, not just some random get-together.

And we do know that donut is a regular slang and is used for billboards to save money, but it is also true that doughnut is the correct way to spell it when writing papers, etc. 

So before you speak, please go through what we do in your mind. We have feelings too. Thank you for reading this special message.
